Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Growing medical device design & manufacturing firm has immediate opening for a Senior Mechanical Engineer. This person will be a leader in a growing mechanical design engineering group.

Minnetronix develops state-of-the-art electronic and software solutions in partnership with medical companies. We specialize in the rapid design and commercialization of highly integrated and miniaturized systems. Our team of experienced engineers provides innovative development solutions and manufacturing capabilities for a product or product line.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

· Mechanical Engineering leader and designer on medical device projects.

· Design medical instrumentation enclosures, mechanisms and test fixtures.  These designs may include plastic, sheet metal and machined parts. This includes preparing tool ready databases.

· Work with suppliers to incorporate design for manufacturability in components.

· Collaborate on designs with partners.

· Work with industrial design firms to turn product concepts into products.

· Write and review design specifications.

· Perform electromechanical assembly design selection tradeoffs

 

Qualifications include:Proficient at SolidworksMedical Product design experience a plus7 or more years experienceB.S. in Mechanical Engineering
