Senior Product Development Technician St. Jude Medical, Atrial Fibrillation Division is committed to reducing the effect atrial fibrillation has on its patients!  Atrial fibrillation (AF or A Fib) is the most common abnormal heart rhythm.  It is a very fast, uncontrolled heart rhythm that occurs when the upper chambers of the heart try to beat so fast that they can only quiver.  We are seeking exceptional candidates to fill the following position in our Minnetonka, MN location:  Senior Product Development Technician Responsibilities Design, build, and test various prototype medical devices.  Design experimental methods, tooling, and fixtures to test new and existing designs.  Write, review, and update various protocols, reports, and qualification forms.  Provide material control and inventory support for projects. Design, build, and implement tooling and fixtures, perform equipment qualifications, and develop new manufacturing techniques to advance company core competency. Qualifications Successful candidates must have HS degree and 8 years electromechanical experience or 2 year degree and 5 years of electromechanical experience.  Must be proficient with the use of materials testing equipment such as Instron or MTS.  Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel and must be able to read engineering drawings.  Experience designing and building prototype tooling and GMP is required as well as a background in plastic components and material processing.  Desire catheter based medical device experience. Qualified candidates may apply online via our website via our website at www.sjm.com and reference position AF11741.  Apply Now!   St. Jude Medical is an equal opportunity employer.
