Senior Programmer/Analyst

Participates in the development and support of software. Will participate in development teams and is expected to perform design, analysis, and programming. May work from provided specifications or be responsible for production of
specifications.

1. Adherence to I/T standards.
2. Creation of new applications.
3. Maintenance to existing applications.
4. Testing of all modules to ensure quality.
5. Provide technical support to teams.
6. Provide problem resolution for assigned software.
7. Provide user help and assistance with assigned applications.
8. Analyze specifications for completeness and accuracy.
9. May function as a project leader for assigned projects.
10. Responsible for keeping up-to-date with Bard's Technology.

1. College degree required (minimum of Associates Degree, Bachelor's Degree preferred).
2. Good communication skills both verbal and written.
3. Five years of applications development experience.
4. Prior maintenance of existing applications.
5. Team orientation.
6. Strong analytical skills.
Software Knowledge
- MFGPRO System, APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT USING PROGRESS, Desktop Productivity Tools (MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel, Outlook, etc.) Mandatory
- JD Edwards System preferred
Technology Knowledge
- UNIX in an AIX environment
