Job Summary:

 

We are looking for a small equipment technician, responsible for factory authorized repair of dental and medical devices. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Dental:

 Diagnose all items received from customer Provide estimate of repair to dealer Repair to factory specifications Perform functioning test of unit Perform security test of unit. Complete all information in Repair Database Run all reports for each repair and sign Place unit in warehouse for shipping

Medical:

 Enter information into Medical Database Diagnose unit Provide estimate of repair Provide label information to Nyon for loaner hand piece repair hand piece to factory specifications Perform security test of all hand pieces Complete all information in Medical database Run all reports for each repair and sign Place hand piece in warehouse for shipping

Customer Service:

 Trouble shoot dental unit problems by phone with Dr. and / or Dealer rep Provides technical support for dealer field service reps Explanation of necessary repairs and future prevention Provide part numbers to field personnel Authorize and perform warranty tip replacement.

Equipment and Repair Manuals:

 Responsible for care, maintenance and calibration of equipment Responsible for providing Quality System Management Representative with new  and/or updated repair manuals and information

 

Qualifications: Enthusiastic, outgoing, and a self starterAbility to organize and prioritize work and to meet deadlines.Excellent communication skills - both written and verbalHigh School DiplomaCustomer Service ExperienceComputer experience with knowledge of Microsoft Office
