Sr. Marketing Manager, Diagnostics

We’re searching for a strategic manager in our Portfolio Lifecycle Management group, Diagnostics market. Some of the key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
· Support/establish strategic direction of blood management solutions with respect to the business plan with key thought leaders;
· Identify market, opportunities and feasibility of product development and/or business development for the Diagnostics market. Create product tactical plan.
· Develop/disseminate research information on a continuous basis and command responsibility for the marketing deliverables (business plan, global marketing plan, positioning, lifecycle plan for new/existing technology platforms.
· Provide technical consultation to field personnel and customers as required.
· Propose and manage new product development programs and establish WW guidelines for pricing. Forecast WW product sales.
· Mentor and develop direct reports, or other team members, as appropriate.
Education and Experience Requirements
· BS/BA required, MBA or advanced marketing training highly preferred.
· 7+ years’ progressive sales and/or marketing experience with a minimum of 5 years in the healthcare related industry with experience managing other marketing professionals.
· Blood banking, auto-transfusion and hospital and/or lab experience is extremely helpful.
· International/domestic market experience and successful accomplishment in project management, product development and commercial marketing.
· Expert business acumen with respect to presentation skills, influence, collaboration and development of market models.
· Travel: up to 50% at times.
