Sr. Software Engineer, EAI

 The Sr. Software Engineer for EAI is responsible for owning the Enterprise Application Integration system (TIBCO BusinessWorks) within the enterprise system landscape.  This position is mostly a technical role with a large amount of communication, leadership and business understanding required.  The candidate will understand the capabilities and limitations of the BPM and EAI tool and be able to communicate these to various business and technical groups within the enterprise.  The candidate will resolve functional and technical issues while working in a cross-functional environment with ERP, manufacturing and front-end teams.  The candidate will understand projects on full system scale and lead a development team to accomplish project goals.  The lead will participate in establishing and evolving the enterprise system architecture with other system owners. Duties and Responsibilities:
• Utilize BusinessWorks to facilitate rapid, integration of applications.
• Rationalize the business process models with Tibco’s iProcess and BusinessWorks.
• Strong architecture and development experience involving integration of key mission critical applications.
• Contribute to the SOA COE architecture repository (frameworks around infrastructure, integration models, governance, security, etc.).
• Assure utilization of existing frameworks around integration, testing and deployment.
• Engage internal SOA hosting services group to assure complete design and delivery capabilities.
• Facilitate and architect the integration of multiple COTS/Services solutions.
• Identification and prioritizations of opportunities.
• Engage and manage vendor technical delivery.
• Communicate solutions including presenting technical ideas and solutions to non-technical audiences.
• Work within the team and be customer service oriented.
• Proven track records in architecting and deploying large scale solutions based on various EAI solutions.
• Proven experience in using EAI tool with emphasis on driving solutions through collaboration with partner development teams.
• Must have a good verbal communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills. Education and Experience:
• A Bachelor’s of degree is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• 7-10 years of experience in software development.
• Experience with a packaged EAI tools.
• Team player working to improve team and individual skills for the company.
• Communications skills with the ability to interact with business and technical users.
• Experience with mission critical business systems, especially ERP, EAI and MES.
• Knowledge and experience with SOA and integrating a package software using SOA.
• Professional services or consulting experience is a plus.
• Experience in medical industries preferred.
