Technical Support Engineer

Lumenis Ltd. develops, manufactures and markets state-of-the-art proprietary laser and intense pulsed light devices. PRIMARY FUNCTIONProvide pre/post sales technical upper level support for the complex computer based medical laser products and accessories. Support Field service engineers, customers, Biomeds and distributors by diagnosing and offering complex technical solutions.Train field service engineers and distributors on new and existing products.Support distributors and customer with spare part inventory recommendations, maintaining and defining tools and spare parts for different instrument types.Write and/or edit customer and service manuals, training course materials, and field service bulletins and maintain/ implement any engineering changes orders (ECO), software updates and modifications.Analyze quarterly failure reports and recommend product improvements to the quality assurance, manufacturing and the R&D departments in view of improved quality of products. Travel to various unanticipated locations to interact with clients and train users for short and long term assignments

 QUALIFICATIONSRequirements:U.S. Bachelor's degree, or Bachelor's degree or Equivalent with a concentration in electrical engineering technology, computer science, or electronics engineering with a related plus 9 years of relevant experience in the medical device industry (lasers).
