Technical Support Representative II

Technical Support Representative

Primary Purpose :
This individual will be responsible for technical and clinical product support to customers and Sales, accurate completion of the Customer Call Report and initial data entry of Claim into Claim Tracking system. This individual will also provide technical and clinical product support via telephone and fax. Accurate completion of the Customer Call Report. Accurate data entry of Claim into Claim tracking system. Bench level product analysis, repair, re-certification. Provides verbal price quotations for repair exchange, contracts. On call phone support for evenings and weekends emergencies. Trains and Supports new and less senior technicians. Reviews new Product Service Documentation. On-site Claim investigation. Conducts training courses. Performs department receiving/shipping as required. Special Projects as assigned

Competencies :
To qualify for this position the candidate must have a minimum of a 4 year degree in electronics/biomedical or 2 year degree with 5+ years of experience in addition to:

Experience with Windows OS is highly preferable Problem solving, analytical/investigative experience Solid understanding of software operating systems, especially PC Based Windows and Networks Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
