Training Manager

This position is responsible for the design, development and implementation of all aspects of technical and administrative training for new hires in the CMF/Spine/SUSA sales force, including assessment, planning, scheduling and delivery of training programs. • Provide technical and administrative training for new hires within the CMF/Spine/SUSA sales force
o Develop, maintain and enhance new hire training materials
o Design, deliver and evaluate instructor-led courses
o Design, deliver and evaluate distance learning tools such as computer-based training modules, as assigned by the National Training Manager
o Work with Training Lab Assistant to design, plan and conduct laboratory exercises, including cadaver labs
o Continuously revise and update training materials and content for the benefit of the learner and in order to reflect new techniques, new products and new training technology as well as changes in the market
o Assess strengths and weaknesses of trainees via participant evaluations
o Adapt courses as needed to meet the needs of international participants
• Demonstrate a high level of technical, product and clinical knowledge
• Maintain and enhance technical and market knowledge through regular field visits, attendance at related courses and self-study
• Provide relevant technical training for employees in parts of the organization other than sales, including Product Development, manufacturing and corporate


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree.
• Experience developing and facilitating adult training and knowledge of adult learning principles preferred.
• Clinical expertise and/or knowledge of Synthes products preferred.
