Training and Development Specialist

Job Responsibilities

 

1.      Participate in the design, delivery and maintenance of training and development programs. Programs to be developed for both: 

                                    Instructor led

                                    E- learning

 

2.       Conduct continuous examination of training processes, practices and metrics for the identification of improvement opportunities.

 

3.      Conduct ongoing measurement of training on the job.

 

4.      Maintain training database records.

 

5.      Maintain /administer documentation and records pertaining to the education needs of professional organizations, including American Institute of Architects (AIA).

 

6.      Facilitate programs and implement on-going events that improve the transfer of skills from the classroom to the job.

 

7.      Implement customer service and customer service management curricula, including employee-level training and tools/programs for customer service management.

 

Experience:

         5-7 years of professional experience

     

o       3-5 years training experience, including writing, developing, implementation of facilitation

o       Healthcare industry experience preferred (pharmaceutical, capital, hospital, clinical background)

 

Education:

          Bachelors Degree

 

Skills:         Organization and planning skills         Project management skills         Excellent written communication skills         Strong verbal and communication sills – ability to present materials         Current in technology – based training         Ability to travel (20-25%)
