VALIDATION SPECIALIST

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Duties include creating and performing validation protocols for equipment and systems for our clients in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry. Performing validations includes data acquisition, analysis, and preparation of final reports. · Responsible for assisting in the scheduling of IQ/OQ with customers and operations customer service group maintaining records of all pending IQ/OQ s· Travel to a large extent to perform IQ/OQ validations in a timely manner in conjunction with customer requests and to produce revenue from these validations for the operations group. · Substantial client interaction along with the use of science, engineering, and validation principles in a hands-on environment to demonstrate systems are installed, operate, and perform as intended.· Must be proficient in completing and explaining validation paperwork and data results produced by this validation process.· Provides technical support for all products related to the IQOQ business including:· Recommending methodologies and instrumentation to customers addressing their specific needs.· Formulation of quotations for instrumentation Re-validation services specific to customer applications.· Troubleshooting of customer applications and instrument systems as related to the proper performance of IQOQ, re-validation, certification and preventative maintenance services.· Supply and perform training for IQOQ specialist entering this compliance service group. .· Performs customer applications on Metrohm, Eco Chemie & other equipment and develops procedures to enhance analysis.· Perform Calibration, certification and maintenance on instrumentation when deemed necessary to satisfy customer requests or compliance issues.· Provides technical support to customers, IQOQ service specialist and related individuals deemed necessary for the successful business growth of the services team. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Chemistry or related discipline from a four-year college or university; and four or more years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
