VP Marketing

 Our client is a World Class leader in the field of Cardio Vascular research and development.  They are seeking a qualified individual to lead their marketing team and reporting to the President of the company.  This person will be responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategy and achieving marketing targets.  Specific responsibilities include business and market development, product promotion and advertising, product management, sales force support, clinical team management, market research and planning and Corporate Communications. This position will also work collaboratively with the Senior Management Committee on overall Strategic management of the business. Specific Duties:1.  Maintain and follow proper compliance and quality system requirements. 2.  Provides leadership, direction and management to Marketing, Clinical Support, Corporate Communications and Business Development functions.   3.  Leads the development of the annual Strategic Business and Tactical Marketing Plans. 4.  Develops and manages annual marketing, communications, business development and clinical support department budgets. 5.  Directs implementation and execution of related department policies and practices. 6.  Oversees and provides direction to market and competitor analysis.   7.  Responsible for Product and Market training of Sales Force and other senior staff. 8.  Develop comprehensive product launch strategies in line with branding strategies and revenue and profitability objectives. 9.  Ensures marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements.  Responsible for both Company positioning strategies and Product line positioning strategies. 10. Provides direction to the R&D department on the Product Development Portfolio and supports development team through direct involvement of staff in project teams.   11. Provides leadership of Business Development function along with CEO in acquisition of complementary products and businesses. 12. Partners with  CVS functional areas to ensure the best possible service and effective communications to customers.   Qualifications & Experience Requires a MBA  coupled with 15 years experience in the medical device field as a Marketing professional. because of the analytical decision making skills required.  Strong marketing, business and mathematical capabilities are essential.
