 Summary of Functions:

 

The Warehouseman/Inventory Coordinator has two key aspects to this position. As an Inventory Coordinator you will be responsible to manage the shipping and tracking of field service parts and making the necessary inventory adjustments in our Navision ERP system. You will manage all RMA returns of field inventory. Additionally you will be responsible to managing the field’s test equipment inventory from tracking calibration cycles to shipping of the test equipment. As a Warehouseman, you will be responsible for identifying, packaging and shipping of parts requests from the field. You will be responsible to set up processes and be the person who will lead them to improve the overall efficiency. This position will work closely with Field Service, Service Management, and Hochdorf Service and Operations.  Excellent relationships with Operations and Customer Service are essential for the success of this position.  

 

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

 

 

1.        Utilize ERP systems for transaction, analysis, and reporting.

2.        Receiving,  shipping and tracking of Field Service parts

3.        Demonstrable experience in maintaining and reconciling system stock balances and entries with the physical locations.

4.        Manage RMA returns including making appropriate inventory adjustments and disposition of RMA material

5.        Manage Test Equipment program from orders, calibration tracking, shipments of  loaner equipment, shipments to vendors for calibrations and follow-up with vendors to receive test equipment back

6.        Checks and maintains inventories of stock items, including receiving, shipping, packing, and storing a variety of goods and supplies in proper storage places.

7.   Keeps and updates inventory control records for a stockroom or warehouse.

8.    Assembles, packs and transports parts, supplies and surplus property.

9.   Makes messenger runs to pick up and deliver materials, supplies, equipment, or mail.

10.  Utilize computer software programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) for data analysis and reporting.

AS degree or equivalent

Inventory Experience

Warehouse Experience

Strong communications Skills

Proficiency with Navision Vers. W1 2.60.B a plus

Proficient in MS Excel and Access

Good analytical abilities

Must be a self starter who is confident, decisive, efficient and energetic.
