Accounts Receivable Clerk

Service Steel Warehouse, a regional structural steel distribution and service center, is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support its continued growth.  Responsibilities will include:

Post daily A/R and make journal entries in accounting systemManagecash/lockbox receiptsPrepareand send counter depositsEvaluateA/R aging and make collections calls as appropriateAssistwith special projects regarding collections, including analysis and documentpreparation for collections litigationEntercredit and debit memos into systemHelpsales with credit procedures and questionsReleaseorders in manager’s absenceFacilitate credit reference requests

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

Functional knowledge of accounting
Minimum 2+ years doing A/R and making accounting entriesGreat interpersonal and customer service skillsExtreme attention to detailPositive, can-do attitude
