This position will be a champion for continuous improvement in and safety activities for our plant and underground mine in Northern KY/Cincinnati, OH area.  Using a proactive approach to safety management, the successful candidate will hold management and employees accountable for ensuring a safe work environment.Required Skills

Bachelor's Science Degree in Safety, Risk Management or a related field; 7-10 years experience in safety, risk and loss prevention affairs in a heavy industry manufacturing environment; 5+ years supervisory experience, preferred; Certified Safety Professional certification or an equivalent designation (CIH, AIH, ARM, CPCU or Mine Safety) preferred; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Strong computer skills in MS Excel, Word and Internet.
