BHP Billiton, New Mexico Coal, is a global natural resources company three surface mining operations and one underground operation in Northwest New Mexico.

Positions available will be as entry-level miners performing the following:

8-10 hours shift work

General cleaning of maintenance shop and other areas of the mine

Assists carpenters, mechanics, electricians periodically

Some equipment operation as required for maintenance support work

Cleaning equipment and all surface work areas

Other Miscellaneous labor assignments may be assigned daily to support operational needs.

Qualified candidates must have a valid driver's license and possess a high school diploma or GED. Other technical support training of some level up to or including technical trade school or apprenticeship is a plus. All applicants must also pass a series of tests & a background check prior to an interview.
