Instrument Mechanic

Sherwin Alumina is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Instrument Mechanic to work at its Sherwin Alumina Plant in Gregory, Texas.

 

We seek Instrument Mechanics with skills in calibration, overhauling, installation, and construction of pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and electronic instruments:  both manual and automatic-control systems.  Microprocessor knowledge a plus and 3 years industrial experience preferred.

 

Work could require rotating shifts, heavy lifting, climbing stairs, and working around heights.  Successful candidates will be dedicated to safety, quality, teamwork.  Applicants must pass a written/practical exams and pre-employment physical/drug screen.
