Senior Environmental Engineering Manager

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: ·  Managing the Engineering staff in our California offices; ·  Providing leadership for and mentoring of our junior and mid-level engineering staff; ·  Evaluating, designing, permitting, installing and operating treatment and/or remediation systems for: o Contaminated soil, soil vapor and groundwater; o Industrial and municipal wastewater (with particular emphasis on the hydrocarbon and power/energy industries); o Storm water runoff; and o Drinking water. ·  Performing water and wastewater audits and evaluations, including design feasibility studies; ·  Providing quality assurance review for general engineering data, plans, specifications, and reports; and ·  Other work tasks associated with environmental consulting including business development.     WHAT WE OFFER: WorleyParsons Komex offers the following: ·  The opportunity to grow your career as we grow our business; ·  A healthy, team-oriented workplace; ·  A competitive salary with a premiere benefits package; and ·  A commitment to your continued professional development.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: This is a senior-level position.  Our ideal candidate will have a relevant Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Chemical, etc.), with an associated State of California Professional Engineering (PE) designation in one of those areas, strong, proven leadership and technical skills, and fifteen (15) to twenty (20) years of demonstrated work experience in the areas noted above.  Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including public speaking and business development skills are essential.  The individual should be skilled at developing innovative technical solutions balanced with sound business performance objectives.  Strong interpersonal skills and a valid driver’s license are also required.
