Systems Analyst / Programmer - Intermediate

Drummond Co., Inc. is seeking a technically qualified Systems Analyst / Programmer.  The primary responsibility for the person occupying this position is to support and develop applications using Windows .net for the Drummond user community around the world.  This person will provide support to our existing web and windows applications and develop new applications as initiatives arise.

 Experience and Education Required

· Experience – 1 – 3 years of programming experience;

· Education – Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or other related fields are desired but not required;

· Certifications – MCTS, MCDP, and other technical certifications are desired but not required;

· Travel – Willingness to travel domestically and internationally;

· Team Player – Cooperative with peers and managers;

· Self-Motivated – Must be able to successfully perform work independently with minimal supervisory direction;Skills/Abilities

· Candidate will have excellent communications skills including strong written and verbal abilities.

· Candidate must have strong aptitude and desire to perform field support.

· Preferred candidate will have strong problem solving skills;

· Candidate should also have the following technical skills/abilities;

o  Experience with Visual Basic .NET 1.1 prefer 2.0 or higher but not a requirement.

o  Working knowledge of Object Oriented Programming practices

o  Working Knowledge of proper development life cycle.

o  Experience in T-SQL and SQL Server 2000 or greater

o  Familiar with HTMLOther Desired Experience
