Administrative Assistant (Part-time)
Summary: Provides administrative support to the Accounting Services (Payroll, Corporate Travel, and Field Card Services) and International Services Finance divisions in the Finance department on a part time basis. Supports the administration of projects, programs, and/or processes applicable to these two divisions. Responsibilities: Perform general administrative duties such as purchasing supplies, copying/printing, filing, coordinating unit mail and communication flow, reconcile department monthly card statements as assigned (i.e., Citibank, P-card). Assist with expenditure tracking, budget preparation, preparation for training events, and forms processing. Answer routine questions and forward inquiries to appropriate staff. Review correspondence for consistency with corporate policies and practices. Coordinate and schedule meetings, conference calls, and training as requested. May initiate travel arrangements for unit staff. May assist in the development of presentations and training materials. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications: High school diploma or the equivalent required; Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred. 3 to 5 years of office support experience desired. Must possess strong computer skills in Microsoft Office software including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Experience with Access database software strongly desired. Proficiency in English usage, grammar and punctuation required. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. Strong communication skills and ability to work well with all levels of staff and management. Must possess excellent initiative and ability to work with limited supervision.
