Assistant Director of Special Events
Major NYC cultural institution seeks talented professional to join successful Development team. Reporting to the Director of Special Events, this position will oversee several fundraising and cultivation events annually.
As a key member of the Special Events area, responsibilities will include managing logistics, budgeting, supervision of staff, and ability to work with volunteer leadership. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience in events. Familiarity with fundraising in a not-for-profit environment a plus. Must have a Bachelors degree, be detail oriented with outstanding written and interpersonal skills, and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. We offer excellent benefits and a competitive salary.
