Associate Editor

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia is currently seeking a full time Associate Editor to work within the office of the Catholic Standard and Times, in our Center City Philadelphia office.



Bachelor’s degree is required. Duties include: Assist editor with implementing editorial direction of the newspaper as defined by the Director. Edit copy for news and feature stories submitted by staff writers, freelancers, wire service and press releases. Enhance and manage sports content in the newspaper, in consultation with Editor and Director. Develop a network of scholastic contributors for sports and youth-oriented content in the newspaper and on the paper’s web site. Lay out two to three sports pages per week, and additional pages as needed.
