Behaviorial Specialist - Residential Group Homes

Company Profile: UCP of Miami is an affiliate of United Cerebral Palsy Association, Inc., a national voluntary health agency with state and local affiliates throughout the United States.  UCP is an organization which includes, charter schools, daycare centers, after school programs, adult services programs, supported living services, supported employment, and group home residential services for developmentally disable children and adults. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

* In coordination with Coordinator of Behavioral Services, develop new skill acquisition programs.

* Develop individual program plans based on functional skill assessments.

* Write quarterly and semi-annual reports, submit for review, and distribute to family and support coordinators.

* Monitor the implementation of IPP's.

* Conduct behavioral observations and complete reports.

* Review and assess behavioral data and make adjustments/follow-up to the program as necessary.

* Interact with consumers in an appropriate and positive manner, fostering independence.

* Train staff in skill acquisition and behavioral intervention techniques.

* Organize monthly activities for all group homes.

 

Qualifications:

* Certified Associate Behavior Analyst

* Minimum 2 years of experience

* Acceptable MVR with reliable transportation

* AA degree preferred.
