Benefits/Payroll Representative

YMCA of the USA has the opportunity for a Human Resources Representative to join our team.  This individual will play an integral role in enhancing and automating our processes as well as assisting with benefits, payroll and other HRIS functions.

 

Responsibilities will include:

· Benefits & payroll administration

· Retirement fund administration including reconciling, balancing and transmitting

· Data entry into HR and Benefits modules of HRIS

· Responding to employee questions regarding benefits, timekeeping and paid time off

· Issuing payments to vendors

· Creating reports in HR Perspective and Microsoft Access

· Handling correspondence for leaves of absence

· Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications include:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

· Minimum of 4-5 years HR experience

· HRIS proficiency required.  ADP experience preferred

· Strong interpersonal communication, written and organizational skills

· Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity

· Strong attention to detail

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work well under pressure, set priorities and meet deadlines

· Strong computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, HRIS Systems, Recruiting Systems, and Web)
