GENERAL SUMMARY:Position is on the staff of a government consulting firm located in McLean, VA.  The Budget/Supply Chain Analyst will provide on site budget analysis and operations research support to the Materiel Readiness Project Office (MRPO), Defense Logistics Agency, Fort Belvoir, VA.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide on site budget analysis and operations research support Assist in the preparation and maintenance of business plans Develop strategies, plans and programs to track progress towards savings goals as stated in the business plans Maintain and enhance databases Prepare quantitative reports using data in the business plans and related databases Communicate with clients through oral presentations and written reports MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Undergraduate degree in logistics management, economics, operations research, finance or business management Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint Superior communications skills, both oral and written Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
