Chief Financial Services Team Leader 

 

The Animal Medical Center (AMC), a full-service, not-for-profit animal hospital on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, seeks an enthusiastic, responsible individual to serve as an Client Financial Services Team Leader. 

 

Reporting to the Clinic Manager, this individual will:  Supervise the activities of the Admissions and Cashiering functions, assuring professional and efficient service to clients.Process and approve applications for financial assistance Maintain complete and accurate employee records and documentationMeet with, coach and mentor staff of Client RepresentativesMonitor work product to ensure accuracy and proper execution, providing meaningful and accurate feedback on performanceWork collaboratively with other hospital managers, team leaders and staff  Maintain effective, respectful working environment and customer satisfaction for all veterinarians, support staff and clients

 

We are interested in meeting candidates with these qualifications:Two year degree in accounting or business; four year degree preferredThree to five years work experience Proven ability to manage staff and promote teamwork skillsAbility to communicate orally and in writing, clearly and constructively, with internal and external customers.Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with hospital managers, staff and team leaders Ability to assist all customers with patience, maturity and calmness
