We have the following opening at our South Hadley Girl’s Program: Program Clinician

Overview 

We are now seeking a Master’s level Clinician to provide clinical services at our 16-bed, staff secure residential treatment program in South Hadley, Ma., for adolescent females who have been court-involved and are committed to the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services (MDYS). This program provides the opportunity to offer moderate - term (3-8 months) therapeutic treatment services for females committed to the MDYS utilizing a comprehensive and creative approach to treatment. Knowledge of DBT and residential experience preferred but will train. Program provides onsite clinical supervision by a licensed practitioner. Strength-based, family-centered, cognitive-behavioral and milieu treatment approaches are emphasized. Experiential learning techniques are incorporated into the program. 

 

Position Responsibilities

 

· Provide individual, group and family therapy and case management to assigned case load.

· Develop and implement Individualized Treatment Plans.

· Actively participate in the residential milieu.

· Provide leadership regarding program philosophy and policy in all forums including:  program, collateral and staff meetings.

· Assist in facilitating treatment team meetings from intake to discharge.

· Represent Agency to referral sources.

· Participate in Annual Program Review process.

· Assume additional responsibilities as directed by the Clinical Director and/or Program Director.

 

Qualifications/Requirements
Licensed Master’s-level clinician or successful completion of a license-eligible Master’s degree Program (LMHC / LMFT/ LICSW) required. Familiarity with female adolescent treatment issues and residential experience preferred. Massachusetts driver’s license required. Salary 39K, commensurate with experience and training.
