Community Planner

Part-time position, 25 hours per week.

Description: Under the supervision of the Director of Network Development, assists in the development of the Area Plan and completes assigned planning activities related to the fulfillment of AAA 1-B functions. Monitors and analyzes current issues, proposed policies, and legislation, and engages in advocacy on behalf of older adults and adults with disabilities.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Social Work, Gerontology, or other related field; Masters degree preferred.  Minimum of one year of work related experience, 3 years preferred.  Experience with the administration of older adult services required.  Excellent problem solving, writing, and communication skills are required.  Strong computer skills and minimum keyboarding speed of 25 wpm also required.
