Controller

Under the supervision of the CFO, the Controller is responsible for the oversight of all accounting staff. Incumbent will ensure accurate entry of transactions into the General ledger in conformity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: preparation of monthly financial statements, financial reports,work papers and coordination of annual external audit, assists in answering inquires of branch staff related to accounting issues and financial statements and performs general ledger account reconciliations and account analysis as needed.

Minimum Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. CPA Certification desired. Incumbent must have 5-7 years in an upper level, non-profit accounting position with at least 3 years of supervisory experience. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and supervisory skills required. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Blackbaud Financial Edge accounting software knowledge a plus. Practical knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
