Mather LifeWays is in search of talented people who share our passion for serving older adults and preparing quality food.  We have an immediate opening for a Full Time Cook for our Senior Living Residence located in Evanston.   

 

Cooks will display their creative skills by preparing quality food according to recipe standards, demonstrating sanitation practices, to ensure a fresh quality product. Prepares standard portions and plate presentations and monitors food temperatures. Complies with sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen.

 

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year prior experience as a line cook in a high volume restaurant, hospital or senior living community.  A sanitation license is required.  This individual must have a strong work ethic and great dedication to serving high quality food to older adults.
