Full time live-in counseling position for mature, caring couple as part of a multi-disciplinary team at Family Life Center (FLC).  FLC is a well-respected residential treatment program and WASC accredited private school for adolescent boys and girls in the beautiful countryside of west Petaluma.  These students have completed the beginning phase of the residential program and have advanced to the Family Living Phase component of the program.  They continue to attend school and therapeutic services at FLC’s main campus between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and are at home with the Family Living Phase parents from 5:30 pm to 8:30 am, Monday through Friday, and on weekends. 

Hours and supervision towards LCSW, MFT and Psychology licensure are available.  ATR hours and supervision are also available. 

 

Family Living Phase parents receive:

·  A beautifully furnished country home including utilities, and a monthly budget for food and household expenses

·  Individual supervision towards licensure, if needed

·  24 hour on-call support

·  Weekly in-house meetings with students and Family Living Phase Director

·  Weekdays 8:30 am-5:30 pm off

·  4 - 5 respite days per month complete with off-site furnished apartment

 

Family Living Phase parents provide:

·  Caring, guidance and supervision for six students

·  Positive parenting and relational experiences
