Custodial Services Manager - Greenville MSA

To manage the custodial department in a cost effective manner by establishing and applying sound management policies pertaining to Goodwill, customer relations, planning, budgeting and work flow, and establish training for the work site setting.

To develop other custodial business opportunities to expand the Custodial Program.

To manage the daily activity of the facilities based janitorial program.

To maintain order and discipline within the work area.

To devise methods of performing work efficiently and teach those methods to clients.

To assign work to be performed as best satisfies workload and customer requirements.

To maintain all necessary documentations required by Goodwill, OSHA, CARF, NISH and other regulatory organizations.

To identify departmental equipment needs and maintenance issues, execute purchase orders for supplies and equipment.

To prepare bi-weekly payroll input information and keep production work records on each client/job.

To provide direct supervision of floor activities and coordinate activities toward program goals.

To maintain confidentiality of all records and files concerning the position.

To maintain adequacy, accuracy and punctuality of reports and records.

To perform general housekeeping, custodial and janitorial duties as may be scheduled and assigned.

 

Five years custodial/janitorial management experience required. Must have the ability to assess, bid, and price contracts for future business. Needed management skills include: planning, organizing, scheduling, directing, training, and customer service.
