Director of Clinical and Community Services
Purpose: Develop and manage the Clinical & Community Services Department. Oversee programmatic standards including program development implementation to meet unique refugee population needs. Develop and maintain key community relationships. Ensure contract compliance including outcomes and budget management. Supervise clinical and case management staff.
Duties & Responsibilities:
¨Develop and maintain program policies, procedures, and protocols
¨Supervise,train, motivate, coach, and develop program staff
¨Prepare reports and correspondence for program
¨Represent the Institute at community activities of relevance to the program
¨Evaluate program effectiveness and relevance to the Institute and/or community
¨Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
¨5years of comparable experience and proven ability to start up and maintainnewly funded programs
¨Backgroundand training in family systems strength based approaches to treatment
¨Personnelmanagement and leadership experience
¨Outstandingcommunication skills including written, verbal, and presentation skills
¨Experiencewith cost/benefit analysis
¨Grantmanagement experience
¨Abilityto supervise, train, motivate, coach, and develop staff
¨Excellentcomputer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
¨Independent licensure in MA required; LICSW, LMFT, LMHC orequivalent
¨3-5 years of supervisory experience required
¨Evidence of ability to provide competent clinical services toa multicultural client population required; expertise in serving survivors ofdomestic violence, sexual assault, and other types of trauma and human rightsviolations required
¨Bilingual/biculturalcandidates are encouraged to applyAbility to travel to various locations; possession ofvalid driver’s license and reliable transportation and proof of auto insurancerequired
Thisposition requires community work and travel, therefore employees in this position must have the ability to:
¨Travelto and from clients’ residences, community locations, and numerous office siteswhich could include using walkways, stairs, and/or elevators
¨Abilityto lift up to 20lbsAbility to communicate by voice, use sight, andhearing
