DIRECTOR OF MAJOR GIFTSDONOR RELATIONS DEPARTMENT



  United Way of Greater Stark County is seeking a Director of Major Gifts reporting to the President, this position will develop a powerful major gift strategy for all levels of Rainbow, Alexis De Tocqueville and Planned Giving. This person will direct two (2) major gifts staff positions which will be titled Donor Relationship Manager. This person, along with the relationship manager will direct those volunteers recruited in the leadership and professional divisions. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, social work, marketing, communications or other related field; have experience in fundraising, sales or not-for-profit administration. The ability to work at the highest level of the corporate community and with high-net worth individuals, demonstrate leadership, communication, organizational, research and sales skills; to work quickly and handle multiple tasks; have computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software products.
