Director of Mental Health Services

Brockton Area Multi-Services, Inc, a leading provider of human services throughout Massachusetts, has an opening for a Director of Mental Health Services.  Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, the position oversees a $4 million department comprising 10 day, residential and supported apartment programs and employing more than 100 in the greater Brockton area.

 

The Director will supervise Assistant Directors, Program Directors and clinical staff, assuring delivery of excellent service.  Accountabilities include overall program operations and compliance with licensing, regulatory, financial, quality assurance and agency standards.

 

The successful candidate will have strong leadership ability, be knowledgeable in funding source and licensing regulations and have the ability to function independently at a high level.  A bachelor’s degree, preferably in human services or a related field is required, and a master’s degree in human services or a related field is preferred.

 

Candidates must have previous experience overseeing mental health day and/or residential programs and at least five years of human services management experience.  A valid driver’s license, a good driving record and a means of transportation are also required as travel between various programs and offices is required.
