Very innovative United Way focused on changing community conditions in 19 towns in North Central Massachusetts seeks:

 

Director of Resource Development

 

This is a leadership position responsible for cultivation and strengthening of donor relationships.  We seek a highly energetic, self-motivated, independent individual to lead the organization’s resource development and campaign efforts.  Must be flexible, well organized, team and detail oriented.  Ideal candidate will have previous experience in fund development (including proven ability to personally make the “ask”).  Also, creating sponsorship opportunities/grantwriting experience will be considered a plus.  Candidate must have exceptional public speaking, oral and written communication skills, database/spreadsheet experience and proven track record of managing multiple projects.  Management of significant volunteer resources will be required.  BA/BS preferred and minimum 3 yrs of development experience required.   We offer a competitive salary/benefits package commensurate with skills/capacity.  For a full job description, please go to www.uwncm.org.  Send resume and cover letter by May 16th to:
