Director of Sales

Reports to: VP, NY Region

 

Location: New York City

 

 

 

 Develop a sales strategy that will ensure optimal level of client admissions to multiple Phoenix House programs throughout NY state (e.g., Outpatient, Residential, Medical/Dental)Lead/develop  a team of approximately 12 (in 3 geographically dispersed offices); consult to two other remote officesDevelop outreach strategies which include clinical leadership at program and senior management levelInitiate/develop relationships with key client admissions sources, e.g., courts, social services agencies, school systems, local government units, and other referral networks)Track sales effectiveness through metrics on weekly basis (e.g., Residential admissions, outpatient visits, external contacts made)Manage annual salary budget of approximately $800KDevelop and implement special marketing strategies to increase community awareness of Phoenix House

 

Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree (business-related a plus)Demonstrated ability to deliver against sales goals and grow a businessDemonstrated leadership ability to motivate and develop a teamManaged budgets responsiblyUnderstand social services environment (substance abuse knowledge strong plus); familiarity with NY-based courts and social services agencies preferredWillingness to travel across NYC boroughs/Long Island/Westchester and occasional Upstate NYAppreciation for clinical/mental health services strongly preferred
