Division Manager / Job Developer

The Division Manager ofEmployment Solutions performs duties under direct supervision of the ProgramDirector and indirect supervision of CEO or designate. He/She directly supervisesCommunity Employment Facilitators (CEF) in the Integrated Work and/or inSupported Employment. The qualified candidate has a working knowledge ofSupported Employment and Integrated Work, and supports the philosophy ofcommunity-based vocational instruction and support services.  He/she will have extensive backgroundin working with persons with severe disabilities, as well as experience in jobdevelopment and employer negotiations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

•      A commitment tothe agency's basic vision, mission, and values as they are to be actualized inthe lives of

         boththe children and adults we support.

•      A belief that alladults have the right and ability to work at real jobs for real pay.

•      Minimum two yearsof experience working with individuals with disabilities preferably in acommunity

         settingor related experience.

•         Supervisoryexperience in human services or in related area.

•      BA / BS in humanservices related area preferred, or equivalent years of related experiencemaybe substituted,

or a combination of education andexperience.

•      Valid CPR andFirst Aid training.

•      Californiadriver's license and proof of automobile insurance.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB INCLUDE:

 

•      Jobidentification and development.

•      Monitoringof community activities and/or employment sites.

•      Orientationand training of new CEF’s.

•      Evaluationof CEF’s on caseload.

•      Completionof TMI required paperwork and tracking.

·      Completionof monthly billing documentation and compilation of services (daily rate orhourly) rendered.

•      Assumesresponsibility of CEF’s during absences/vacations as necessary.

•      Schedulesand completes participant intakes.

•      Casemanagement of individuals on caseload.

•      Support,training, and evaluation of assigned Lead Facilitator.
