Employment & Education Specialist-Waltham


 


This is an exciting opportunity in the Waltham area for an individual who wants to make a difference in the lives of adults with psychiatric disabilities. Duties include: Counseling individuals on career planning through employment/educational supports & helping them identify a vocational/educational strategy. Analyzing & preparing individual employment and/or education plans, performing vocational/educational intakes & assessments. Assisting individuals with job search skills & managing employment related issues on an ongoing basis. Maintaining client records, assisting with data collection & reporting. The hours are Mon-Fri 8am-4pm. The position pays $27k-$29K per year for a 35 hour work week. 


 


Requirements include:

Basic computer skills
BA or equivalent experience
Valid driver’s license & car required
Prior experience working with adults with psychiatric disabilities helpful
