Executive Administrative Assistant
The corporation seeks to fill the Executive Assistant’s position to support operations of the Executive Director’s office. Tasks include preparation of corporate correspondence, dictation, contract processing, presentations, and coordination of meetings, events, and the Executive Director’s calendar. The individual will also serve as liaison to the organization’s Board of Directors, affiliate companies, senior staff, as well as supervise an Administrative Aide and other staff.
Candidates for the position must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a fast-paced environment, as well as a high school diploma, or certificate or AA degree in Secretarial Science. The individual must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, as well as multi-tasking and organizational experience; have extensive knowledge of MS Word, Access, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; type 100 wpm; and take dictation (shorthand or fast longhand).
The individual must have a high level of commitment and enthusiasm for the corporation’s mission; and an ability for working with staff at all levels of the organization in a collaborative team approach. Successful candidates will take initiative, attend to details and complete projects and day-to-day tasks.
