Executive Assistant/Office Manager

This professional Executive Assistant/Office Manager will play a critical role in supporting the work of the Association and the Association Chief Executive Director.  He/she will serve in the lead administrative role to provide a broad range of support to the CEO including scheduling and organizing, calendar management, meeting planning, office management and support, proposal development, document creation and organization, and expense management. 

Looking for a professional who has the ability to multi-task, a history of successfully setting priorities and meeting deadlines with a positive attitude.  Must have impeccable interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. 

Forward your resume if you have experience and knowledge in the folowing:Management and coordination of all day to day office adminstrative needsManages production schedule, coordinating development and meets deadlinesInstrumental in developing and presenting staff team goals based on strategic objectives or initiativesResponsible for staff maintaining organized files and insures appropriate staff maintenance of membership database resulting in maintaining current and accurate historical membership dataProficient computer skillsKnowledge in accounting of payroll, accounts receivable and accountspayable procedures Ability to write articles, speeches and create presentation content using original or innovative techniques or style.

 

Minimum Requirements:
1.  Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or five (5) years office management experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education

2.  Strong office management and time management and organizational skills

3.  Positive personality, intelligent, personable, problem solver, sense of humor and excellent people skills

4.  Ability and desire to research new topics and ideas

5.  Self motivated and professional; extremely high personal integrity

6.   Career stability - minimal job changes.

Travel required for scheduled meetings, conferences, annual convention and other events as needed during the business day and events outside normal business hours as needed. This position requires the flexability to be available beyond assigned office hours, some evenings and an occasional weekend when needed.
