Human Service Direct Care Professionals /part time position

Nexus, Inc. is a non-profit Human Service agency that serves adults with developmental disabilities in seven 24 hour staffed residential programs. Nexus is seeking a committed, energetic, experienced person to fill a part timeposition in a residential program in Billerica supporting three men and three women in all activities of daily living including community participation and social/recreational activities. An automobile and current driver's license are necessary for some of these activities.

The schedule is 10a.m. Saturday through 10a.m. Sunday (the overnight hours are asleep) and a mandatory 12p.m. -2p.m. Tuesday staff meeting.

One year experience required in a related field or course of academic study. CPR, First Aid  and Medication Administration certification are mandatory trainings for employees of Nexus, Inc.

Starting salary is $11.00 per hour awake ($11.25 if MAP trained) and $8.00 per hour for the asleep hours. Benefits include vacation, sick and pension contribution.
