In-Home Family Preservation Therapist

Family Services of Davidson County, Inc. is an accredited, non-profit agency located in Lexington, North Carolina.  We provide a variety of services in the areas of crisis intervention, clinical counseling/therapy, and programs for at-risk youth.

 

Presently, we are seeking a qualified Social Worker/Case Manager to work with our In-Home Family Preservation Program.  This position provides assessment and psychotherapy to individuals, families and groups who meet the criteria for Family Preservation services, which may take place at community agencies, client’s home, schools, day cares and/or FSDC offices. 

 

Requirements for consideration include:

Degree from an accredited school of social work or counseling program and licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of North Carolina



Demonstrated competence as a clinician who has a solid theoretical base that includes the Family Systems approach



Position maintains several active cases and on-call responsibilities with clients/families served.  Therefore, demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks/priorities is essential



Work ethic/style that demonstrates a collaborative approach to services and a strong commitment to human services as a profession
