Information Systems Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Promax/BDA is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team who is seeking an environment in which he/she can grow professionally in our Los Angeles office.
The candidate will report directly to the SVP of IT and must possess a strong command of cross-browser development techniques, code optimization, and must have at least five years of experience in web application development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field (Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Science, Information Technology, etc.).
Must have 5+ years experience with the following:
• Expert level in PHP and in at least one RDBMS, preferably Oracle
• Expertise in Web Services and IIS
• Proficiency with front-end scripting including: HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX
• Experience with working with Flash and other interactive technologies.
• Must be able to correctly estimate the time and effort needed to perform a task, able to meet deadlines with excellent problem-identification and
reporting skills.
• Candidate must have technical knowledge of Windows XP, Mac OS X and MS Outlook 2003/2007 in an Exchange environment.
• Candidate must have strong understanding of TCP/IP-based networks and associated applications
• Provide technical support to company employees who experience problems with computer hardware, software, peripherals, network connectivity, and remote access. Ensure customer satisfaction through the timely, professional response and resolution of problems and inquires that limit negative impacts on customer productivity.
• Experience with C, C++, .Net, and Web 2.0 style JavaScript libraries is a plus
