Jr. Technical Support Specialist

The Hebrew Home at Riverdale, a nationally acclaimed, not-for-profit, non-sectarian geriatric center seeks a Jr. Technical Support Specialist for our Information Technology Department.

 

This position will provide assistance with IT support to agency wide computer system, its users and provide administrative support to the Department.  Candidate will perform Help Desk functions and assist with installing, modifying, and repairing computer hardware and software.

 

Candidates possess A+ Certification or equivalent required.  College degree preferred. Prior technical support experience a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2000/2003 and Windows 2000/XP required.  In addition, to technical skills the desired candidate will have the ability to communicate with users and staff members, be willing to run the extra mile if needed, be dependable and personable.
