MANAGER SPECIAL EVENTS 

The Broward Public Library Foundation, Fort Lauderdale based nonprofit seeks a high-energy, creative special events manager to direct all aspects of our special event activities.



Specific events include:Our annual signature fund-raising event, A Night of Literary Feasts, an unforgettable evening of individually hosted dinners with Literary Guests of Honor. The special events manager will also conduct several literary series throughout the year and coordinate with other fund-raising volunteer groups. Events are author oriented and include selection, booking and "tending" of authors, and graphic design of promotional materials.

The position requires interpersonal and advanced computer and graphics skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. A special events background and book literacy is a must.
