Manager of Marketing & Sales Information Technology

The Manager of Marketing & Sales, Information Technology reports directly to the Vice President of Information Technology and is part of the IT department. The Manager of Marketing & Sales will work with the Manger of IT and other IT personnel to achieve the mission and goals of the IT department. This job will require the individual to manage the subscriptions services to residents and business customers for universal broadband and related services. Coordinate the sales of subscriptions by establishing quotas,goals and training requirements for Community Ambassadors and other sales personnel. Additionally the marketing requires that this individual in collaboration with the VP IT develop and supervise all marketing activities to include advertising and promotional programs.

Some of the tasks required for Marketing for this job are as follows:

·Create; design a full scale marketing Plan and Brand Identity for all products and services for Mount Hope’s Information Technology department.

·Create and launch campaigns to support subscription sales and services.

·Develop core positioning,unique selling points and pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals.

·Uphold brand standards enabling a consistent brand image.

·Review and evaluate outside inventor submissions and other new product ideas.

·Be an expert with respect to competition.

·Act as a leader within the company.

 

Some of the tasks required for Sales for this job are as follows:

·Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of subscriptions, enhanced and innovative products, services, or other subjects of sale.

·Determine price schedules and discount rates if and when applicable.

·Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.

·Direct,coordinate, and review activities in sales and service.

·Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service directly or refer to appropriate vendor.

·Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.

 

Qualifications: BA/BS minimum  in Marketing/Business /Computer Science or related field Graduate degree preferred; Prior experiencein marketing and sales a plus; competency in MS office, Quark, Dreamweaverdesirable; Project Management skills necessary,ability to work independently and multitask
