Marketing Alliance Manager

The objective of the Marketing Alliance Manager position is to fully develop and execute the alliance driven elements of CARE’s marketing plan in conjunction with CARE field offices in the United States. Special emphasis will be placed on the women’s group strategy with support and development of other key alliances.The primary responsibility of the Marketing Alliance Manager is to develop strategies that identify, pursue, and ultimately secure support from women’s groups.  She/He provides leadership to the project manager on the development and execution of other activities aligned with the marketing plan and provides guidance to events strategies, particularly those relating to women's groups.S/he works in collaboration with Media and Marketing Alliances team, key fundraising staff, Advocacy (CARE Action Network) staff throughout the US,  other members of the External Relations team (primarily Creative Production team), and agencies (where appropriate).  Success is measured primarily by the successful development and implementation of the women’s affinity strategy and other key alliances.REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, and Communications or equivalent combination of education and work experience Five to seven years experience in more than one area of marketing, including events management and/or coordination, alliance development and field marketing and or agency management Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.  Good presentation skills and demonstrated ability to build partnerships and work in teams  DESIRED: Master in Marketing or similar focus Experience in complex, decentralized organizations.  Work with women-centric brands or services.  Experience with women’s groups Management/training/facilitation of large groups  Please visit the CARE website to learn more about our organization and to apply for this position. www.care.org/careers  Organization: CARE USA Location: Atlanta, an 30303 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Marketing/Product Relevant Work Experience: 5+ to 7 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
