Monitor

DIV.ftb P,DIV.ftb UL,DIV.ftb OL{margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;font-family:Verdana,sans-serif;font-size:smaller;}Justice Resource Institute seeks a Monitor for the New Bedford Juvenile Resource Center, (NBJRC).  The NBJRC is an intensive day treatment program serving up to 25 male juvenile offenders on probation. The Center is administered by the Office of Community Corrections. The boys attend school, group counseling sessions, and community service activities. Monitors provide direct care services including guidance, behavior management, and constant vigilant supervision. Monitors also manage and coordinate the daily drug testing program. Monitors effectively interface with school teachers, clinicians, probation officers, and Office of Community Corrections staff. This is a long term temporary position from May 2008 thru July 2009, due to military duty. There is the possibility for a permanent position. A clean criminal record, a relevant college degree, and some experience working with the population are required.
