Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Basics, Inc., located in Bronx, NY is seeking a dynamic and supportive leader to coordinate the day-to-day primary care functions of a community based bilingual health clinic, as well as provide direct patient care.  This growing clinic is committed to excellent, compassionate patient care, and has been increasing in specialty services including hepatitis, HIV/AIDS, respiratory illness and psychiatry.

Basics' mission is to provide individuals, families and the surrounding community with long-lasting tools that support and maintain holistic recovery and wellness.  This includes actively working to stabilize social problems and related issues that impact on recovery, economic self-sufficiency and permanent housing.  The medical clinic provides a wide range of primary care services including physical examinations and on-going care, podiatry, psychiatric, HIV testing and counseling, Hepatitis intervention, asthma, smoke cessation, and addiction medicine.

Responsibilities also extend to monitoring the client referral and retention systems, program policies and procedures, continuous quality improvement activities.  Master's degree in Nursing or a related field and a minimum of five years Senior Nurse Management experience required.  Current NYC nursing license
